Springs is located on the eastern side of the
East
Hampton peninsula. The beaches in this
are overlook Gardiner's
Island and Napeague Bay. The harbor
consists of Acabonack Harbor and East Harbor,
which are both rich with wild life.
This area is not commonly known among
visiting boaters. Most boaters will bypass
this area and head for Three
Mile Harbor or Montauk.
Springs does not offer the amenities of those
area, but is a joy to visit. While overnight
anchoring is prohibited, Acabonack Harbor is a
great place to visit and explore.
